“The Collective Wardrobe has been great, I never used to be interested in fashion, nor did I see the reason for others to be. Since the Wardrobe formed, I’ve spent the past few years experimenting with my style to express my personality. I recently contributed to the remarkable Red Dress after attending the embroidery workshops recently. I’ve never felt so beautiful and yet so connected to the community through fashion. "

“My friend Jim gave me this fleece when I was at university, it's got to be over 40 years old now. It arrived damaged and it was too small for him, like it is for me now. It’s been with me for every climbing trip, even been to the Himalayas and back. I became known for it, everyone would describe it as ‘THAT fleece.’ Sadly I’m not as small as I used to be so it no longer fits me. I’m giving it to the Wardrobe Collective in hopes that a new owner will continue on its adventure.” Jims friend

“I got this 70s patchwork sheepskin coat about 7 years ago from the Collective Wardrobe. It has literally not left my back since, which is probably why all the seams started separating so I keep having to oversew all the gaps. Eventually the whole thing will be covered in coloured lines. I decided one side one side should be red and the other blue.' Alice Bott

"It was like a mothpocalypse in my husbands wardrobe. I gifted him this sweater a few years ago. It's made of wool from our favourite sheep that we always stop by on our walks.  I couldn't not save this. I will never be finished. I hope."
